meant to add on previous post that in my cleaning escapade that this USW aluminum tool box and these aluminum bed cap covers are not "cleanable" guess i will have to repaint to bring the shine back to them. Machine polish, buff and all that didnt work on them well at all.
This past weekend i added something interesting to the truck just to have something to do.
chains attached to the tie downs under the tool box that i hate reaching under to get too when hauling stuff. 1.5' on each side.
going to superglue a magnet on the inside corner of the tool box to keep the chain even more accessible, or something.
painted the Engine cover and the fuse box cover.. was going to do the air aid intake tube too but ran out of paint and these really need two more coats anyway.
changed the spark plugs and wires at 90k as well. this was so much easier than i anticipated to do.
also tried solution finish to do some trim restoring and im very impressed with the product, looking forward to seeing how long it lasts.
And i cannot forget my biggest helper when im out piddling around with truck stuff, shes always out there when i am.
and what is this going to turn into i wonder.....
