I am neal that is why I am going to find this stuff cheap or not do it. Might be sooner rather than later.. I think something might be up with the trans.. not sure. Going to check the fluid this evening to make sure its good and at the proper level.

I like that first listing.. I would buy a pair of them if i could get both for $50. I will have to do some looking. None of the pull a part yards near me has anything this new.. mostly early 2000s. Where do they take all of the good stuff I wonder?

Most of the good stuff goes to lots where they do the pulling and you don't.

Next weekend we will be moving close to 200 5'x6' round hay bales from a pasture to our feeding location. bales weigh approximately 1300 pounds each plus the trailer. I really wanted to test out the 4.56s and truetrac in mine vs the stock g80 and 3.73s in my cousins 2014 but it will not be an apples to apples comparison. I will have a 4 bale trailer hooked to mine and he will have a 5 bale trailer to his.

Put her to work this past weekend.
Moved 154 in Saturday 6am-6pm, and the last 28 Sunday morning.

Never saw over 190deg trans temps and the 4.56s pulled like a champ and the truetrac performed well as well. I should have taken a picture of the pasture with rolling hills, could not go up one of them straight without needing 4x4... which I don't have so I went up at an angle.

Image

I drove both trucks and like I said it wasn't really apples to apples but, I do feel like mine pulled better from a stop. My trans temps also were 10deg lower after pulling at 50mph for about 15-20 miles before stopping to unload.

Yeah that 5 bale trailer has a funky distribution it looks like.. probably more tongue weight and that rear bale is a little smaller.

I was surprised mine did not squat more since I have the deavers in the rear, but I guess the trailer was well balanced with 4 bales.

Well traded the tool box on mine for my cousins silver one in the picture above. I will selling the silver tool box and then will be pulling the black diamond plate bed rail caps off sometime soon and getting rid of them. The intention is to put a bed cover on it now.

A fellow member was getting rid of his stock 2020 silverado front and rear speakers so I picked them up for a good deal. Surely they are better than my 09 non bose stock ones. Both of my rear speakers no longer work so other than the plug I'm expecting them to be a straight drop in.. The fronts on the other hand probably no where close to exact fit. The member shipped them out Jan 8th and I have still not got them.. per USPS "due to coronavirus". But I got an update this morning that they are finally in Mississippi vs California.

The shipping issues going on now are crazy. We get our mail every other day. Really annoying when you are waiting for something.

What type of bed cover are you leaning towards?
