So I‘m sure if I grenade my current turbo I‘ll go with a drop in Replacement.
Few months ago I saw a video vom Ryans Diesel Service installing a 68mm in a LB7.. need to research that as far as sound goes.
And I‘ll need to find a good rebuild kit for my transmission then lol

68mm will likely be pushing it for stock injectors. And definitely would anihlate a stock trans haha. Especially a 5 speed.

For a stock motor and trans I think 64mm is the sweet spot on an lb7. Plus for towing, a 68mm would likely be less than ideal.

I sure hope I‘m not grenading anything soon lol

Probably right, the 68mm just sounds so sweet. 64mm would be more than enough and would require a built trans too. No Zone Diesel has some good kits there.. then a Sportsman CP3, Liftpump and some 30 overs SAC.
Ahh yeah got the future in my mind but not in my wallet lol

I know the feeling lol. I'm right on the very ragged edge of my trans not holding the power. Or should I say it doesn't hold the power, it's just relying on me not beating on it lol. Once I get my trans done, and throw some 60% overs in it, it'll be nasty.

You can make some serious power with the LB7s. Takes a little work, but they are extremely capable when done right.

You doing the trans yourself or use a shop to build it? 60 Overs sounds nasty lol

I would love to make 650 RWHP but that would cost me a fortune. Shipping and taxes are killing me with these high dollar parts.
Can‘t afford paying 2k for shipping/taxes just to get me a transmission.

Depending on cost and who I ultimately go with will depend on if I do the trans myself or not.

Either case I won't be building it myself, but I may install it myself. I'm torn between 3 companies for the trans, SDP, Limitless diesel, or kodiak truck. If I go SDP, I'll be installing it myself. If I go limteless or kodiak truck, I'll likely make the drive to them. Limitless is about 5 hours from me and kodiak is about 13 hours from me.

Going to have it built to hold at a minimum 750hp. My ultimate goal is 700hp.

Kodiak Truck is related to Ryans Diesel right?
I‘ll be on the look out for your Plans haha

Today the Backup Lights came in, but they were somewhat damaged. One had a crooked lens, the other one had a completly loose lens.
Did an Ebay Report and they will refund my money but I can keep the parts.
Opened them, corrected the lens and tested them.

This is one Led Pod, I‘ll be adding two total.

Layed out the steering parts before I got interrupted by the typical big rig driver with summer tires.
