Im going with this kit. The fxr kit is about to be discontinued. I have read a lot of excellent reviews on the D2S projectors and hylux ballasts, plus you have to drill the 2 bottom hole on the fxr kit. This kit is a complete drop in kit. If you go with this kit,use code gmforum_10%

Ah. Nice. I bought the fxr kit from them on my 15 and had to use the supplied 3d printered brackets. Had the same bulbs and ballasts though. Never had a problem with them.

Got my pillar gauge mount back today. Color is a perfect match. Now to get a day off and get by the shop to get them installed.

How come you're leaving the DEF if you're on a full delete? Do you have to worry about smog where you are?

Thats still one im on the fence about. I left it on my 13 duramax i had. Just simplicity if i want to ever trade it in on another one. I say im going to keep this one a while but i get a wild hair every now and then. I could take it off and leave the fill hose under the hood so i could put it back on if i needed too. I don’t know just yet

I'd rip that crap off the truck but hang onto the parts so you can put them back on if you ever get rid of it.

If you do leave the fill line on the truck, just be sure to seal any exposed ends of it real good in case you ever do install the system again. They are very sensitive to contamination.

Gotcha. So you just cap off the connections to the DEF tank? Put any grease or lube on them so they don't dry out and crack? I'm in CA and have thought about deleting when I get a diesel, but not sure of the best say to do it where you can easily go back to stock for smog every 2 years.

Newest addition to the family made his arrival a few days early. Guess the pressure of the storm pushed him out, as there have been a bunch of babies born this week in my town. Greyson Hoyt, 6 lbs. 8 oz, 19.5” long, was born at 8:25 pm on 9/19/19. Mom and baby are doing wonderful!
