@Trey - I have skills and some electrical ones as well (wired and tapped some light for LEDs). How hard of an install are the amps? How much time should I budget? Plug and ply make it easier? Something I can do alone or with my trusted assistant (9 ur son), or do I need a buddy to help me over a cold 12 pack?

Forgot to mention - also replaced the front liner from stock to WeatherTech. Left the back one as it is a better mat/liner and I didn’t want to undo the under seat storage. When I make the audio mod at some point if I go stealth under rear seat, maybe switch it out then to the non-extended WT liners.

No pics b/c they’re still in the box......Hahahaha. Was waiting until I detailed the interior. The factory mats are great except they cut out under the throttle. I think that’s stupid on their part b/c that’s 100% guaranteed to get dirty. The factory mats are collecting dirt under them there already. Didn’t want to just cover it up with the WT. and I’m not just going to vacuum when I need a full interior cleaning/detail. May even condition the leather. Hahahaha

I did mine in several hours by myself but it would definitely help to have an extra set of hands. The easiest part for me was the installation of the brackets and boards and the most time consuming was running the harness, placing and wiring the led lights that come with them and making it all look good and factory installed. Definitely go with the plug and play and get and obdII y splitter for under the dash.

Would I need the splitter?? The only thing that gets plugged in there is my tuner. Or the dealership should they need to do some warranty stuff (praying that never happens). So, I could just unplug them when I hook up the tuner, correct? I can get in/out without any steps and I do all logging and tuning by myself. Well, I’m done as soon as a log an MOT for Lew, or does it make them lower if they’re unhooked?

You dont have to have the splitter, you can just unplug the steps. I just did the splitter to keep it all clean looking.

I thought the “plug and play” eliminated any need for drilling. Am I go My tonbeed to still through the driver floorpan? Is there a way to install the Amps without the need for drilling in my truck?

There is a grommet under there where wires are already passing through.

Thanks, I was just reading install papers trying to decide if it was something I wanted to tackle on my own. Drilling holes in truck didn’t appeal to me no matter did it......hahaha. I’ve got them sitting in my “cart” and just need to click the button to order them. This made me hesitant.

Hmm, I just don’t want them hanging out in the garage for too long should click the button
