Oh Boy folk stay tuned for this one folks...she's gonna be a good one!! Ya I want to start to colour match some chrome as well..there is a lot still on mine that's gotta go.

Although that is one of my fav build threads out here!

Just dropped the 2500 off at the dealer for its final coat appointment and got to shoot the stuff a bit with the guy who bought my truck. Gave him the ins and outs of what he had to play with on it. And Neal, just for you, I did ask what he got it for (it was an emotional week letting it go and I had hoped it would drive off into the great unknown, never to be seen again. But, nope. Here it sits in front of me, so yes, of course I was curious). So, I can say, it definitely pays to be an employee of the dealership and get first crack at all the trade ins! My goal when I traded it was $30k-ish, I ended up taking $35. New guy got it foooooorrrrrr (drumroll) dadadadadadaddada $37k. Winner winner chicken dinner for that guy I'd say. Needless to say he was a happy dude. I think he creamed himself a little when I handed him the full parts list that I added.

With that, this story and build is over, and I'll throw up a new thread here of what I've got in the works for the new truck (sorry, It probably won't compare to this one [I'm finding, it's a lot cheaper to mod a 1500]). Thanks again for all the help and interest from everyone on this one!

Did they try and lowball you at 30k at first? Thats a hell of a deal for that guy.

No, but I came in with F**d's number ($32), so it was one of those, "what do you want for it to buy the Duramax?". $30 being my goal, $35 sealed the deal for me
