I had that gap, when I installed my new grille it closed it up a lil still there tho. The gap was worse with the aftermarket headlights.

Don't tell me that! I'm about to order clears ughhhh Fml. I saw some guy fixed it on gmfs but he wasn't specific about how he did it

As far as the black adhesive. On my old truck when I removed them. I used 3M adhesive remover, from the auto parts store. Worked great.

Why would you want to make taillights out of candy? Those would dissolve in the rain, if all the fat kids in your town don't eat them off first.

Hahahah yall kill me!

It ended up being too bright and the only thing I had to darken it up is PD so I took it all off. FYI hair spray is the best way to get paint off. After this I'm thinking about going back to my tinted idea.
