The saying “tried and true” comes to mind here. Appearance wise, they look very sharp. Are there enough real world reviews and test to make an informed decision though?

I read quite a few so I would say yes. I know you love KO2's, I get it! But I had other concerns so the particular brand/model was not an issue for me. And like any product, someone has to be the first to use it in order for people to find out about it and for reviews to start pouring in. (Plenty of people buying 2019 & 2020 Silverados & Sierra's on its first year of production and that's not a $975 purchase!) I'm ok being one of those people for a set of tires! And Yokohama's been around long enough so I'll take their reputation as the basis for the performance and durability that this particular tire might have. Hey like I said, I'm the guinea pig here. It can go great to the point that people here will start buying them or it can go south and soon enough I'll be possibly buying KO2's. It's ok! Not the first time I've tried something new.

How much per tire? I’m getting my 285/70-17” KO2’s tomorrow. May take a look.
My 60000 Yokohama’s only made it 38000 before they were down to 3/32.

In your size 285/70/17 at Discount tire they are $252 per tire. About the wear issue, I've read that on the old GO15's. Supposedly as per Yokohama, these new X-AT's are supposed to have longer tread life.

Tons of clearance. They skinny tire does look funny. You could have gone with a 11.5 and it would have looked better on a stock width wheel.

They were a cheap size and skinny tires work better in deep snow is the Only reason I have the skinny ones on this truck

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/quote]I like the skinny look and no snow here in Florida. Lots of rain which makes skinny better on hydroplaning. And for 11.5 I would have had to go with something like a 34. Like I said, no biggie! All the pictures I've seen in that size look good to me. I've even seen some with a 6" lift and they look fine. I'm looking for a happy medium between looks and functionality and I think this is it. If it doesn't work, I change it in the future.

So I picked up the Yokohama's today. They look awesome. The Yoko's are bigger and wider than the other brands in that size. I found a pricing error on Walmart's website so Discount tire had to credit me the difference with their price guarantee. I got them for $161 each. So whoever said that I got the wrong tires? I didn't, Lol!!
Even if they wouldn't look ideal, I paid peanuts for them so I would just buy something else and keep them as spares. Can't beat that deal on that type of tire. Needless to say the Discount tire people weren't thrilled and they even had to call corporate to verify and approve the credit. They had to credit me $341 for the price difference + $312 for the KO2 exchange. These were made in Japan and they have a 2 month old manufacturer date. They really are a beautiful tire and like I said, they measure bigger than other brands so I think in the end they will look great. I'm more than happy! Here are some pics:

Nice. That’s a little more than I paid for my falkens. Gotta love shopping around and price matching.
