Hey everyone, so I figured I better start one of these threads, since it appears I have caught the mod bug. This is for my 2009 Silverado 1500 LTZ 5.3L V8 that i purchased in early April of this year. So far my mod list isn't all that large, but I do have intentions of making it a bit bigger. Would love to hear what you think, and to get your input for future mod ideas. That being said, I know a lot of people like to black out their trucks, I like the look too, but as for now I'm kind of feeling the whole chrome on black theme and want to keep the badges as well, so I'm going to be sticking to that for now anyways. Also, I travel for work (currently in Kansas), and my entire life on the road is in the bed of my pickup, so I need to keep the topper on for dry storage.

Here's what I have so far:

-Black MT License Plate (I now have to donate to some cause annually to keep it, but I liked the look, hopefully it's a good cause!)
-Fuel Hostage Matte Black Wheels (17x9"/5x5")

-AnzoUSA U-Bar Projector headlight assembly (shipped today)

Potential mods in the future:
-Leveling kit
-Bushwacker Fender Flares
-Rugged Ridge floor mats
-Magnaflow/Corsa/FM Exhaust
-Vinyl Wrap dash kit. (To cover up my wood grain trim. I'm thinking either carbon fiber, or Blackwood grain. I have the Titanium leather interior, so cream and grey w/ some black)

Thanks, so far they are great. Even without a lift or a level, it makes getting in and out a breeze. the 5" footpad is nice and solid too. Just installed them 5 days ago, instructions were kind of lame, the first side took me a couple hours to make sure I got everything correct, then the second side was about 40 minutes once I knew what I was doing. Like the look with them on too.

Ive got a cap on my truck too and love it. Did you buy the truck with the black painted front? Usually I've only seen that center piece in chrome unless the owner paints it. I dig the matte black wheels too.

Thanks! Yeah, the front was black when I purchased it. I think the previous owner might have had it done, but I can dig it. I like the wheels too, just wish the tires were a bit bigger...

And yeah, the topper is a life saver for me, its filled to the brim when I pack up and move out to another town. A TT is in my future, but as for now, everything needs to be able to fit inside my truck, and I couldn't do that without the cap. Thanks for lookin!

Ha! Im from Kalispell too, but currently in Kansas for work, will be back sometime in October though. Can't wait. Miss them mountains!

Took a page out of SleeperZ71's build, and ordered myself some Anzo U-Bar headlights, should be delivered tomorrow, and hoping to get them installed, but might be a couple days. Will post pics after install though. Looking forward to the new look!
