I started with the clips on the inside next to the grille and the clips on the bottom. You have to take the black piece off of the bottom with a small Torx bit.

In the second pic you can kinda see where the tape ran around the lights. there is still some left on the headlights

I will take more pics of the actual trim pieces when I get home tonight

Ok this is where I am at sofa with the grille and headlight trim still have some more soaking in pool shock to do. Taking them to work tomorrow so I can pressure wash them.

Oh my god that's a lot of tape. No wonder I couldn't get them off the first time. Well, on to the next try.

Looks like the chrome is coming off well!

Thank you yes it is time consuming but it will look way better than those color match covers you can buy

Those decals just peel off or is there a trick to it? Would like to copy ya. I don't really care for the red in the stock ones on mine. Also where'd you pick up the new decals?

Do you have a link to the other thread on that dechroming process? I have a rear bumper I want to black out.

The decals peal off real easy I didn't use a heat gun or anything

As far as the chroming metal you're better off taking it to a shop that does chrome plating because by what I have read they can take the chrome off pretty easy and quickly. Now if you want to take the chrome off of plastic the thread I have on that is called removing chrome from plastic

More new parts in today time for belltech 2" drop shackles. I wish I never put the 2" lift level spacers on the front now I have to take them back off and get the truck re aligned again

Just a little update my facelift is betting put back together I hope to finish putting it back together.

I got some hail damage last Sunday major downer till I talked to the body shop and looks like I can get the functioning R** air hood with insurance money and they will fix all the other small dents
