So, I've been through a few trucks since I have been on this forum. This will be my fourth, but my second build thread. This 2016 is my first brand new truck that I purchased on March 20th, 2017. It is a 5.3 Double Cab Custom 4x4. So far I have put a 2.5" motofab top strut spacer that I had originally purchased for my 08, but never used. I have also removed the lower valence, tinted the windows, added wheel well liners, and put AVS in-channel vent visors on.

AVS In-Channel Vent Visors:

These vent visors are in channel and do not stick on the outside. They look great and definitely serve their purpose of being able to leave a crack in the windows while the truck sits in the parking lot at work all day. When installing them, I had to hold them in position while I rolled the window up to hold them until the tape stuck good enough. Instructions say to leave windows up for 72 hours. I followed that and have driven 80mph with windows down and the vent visors have held true.

Rough Country Wheel Well Liners:
Part Number: 4214
These were shipped quickly from Rough Country, but were not in a box of any kind. The packing slip was taped to the wheel liners. No big deal, as they weren't damaged. I decided to put them on, but see if I could do it without taking the wheels and tires off per instructions. It was a PITA.. Holes did not line up where they needed to be to put the push pins in. Taking the wheels and tires off would not have helped from what I can tell.. Overall I am happy with them, I will have to drill a few holes in the liner to put the rest of the push pins in, but I was able to get enough in to where it is in there solid.

I will try to continue to do a mini review on everything that I do to this truck.

Moto Fab 2.5" Leveling Kit

I originally ordered this last year to install on my 2008 but never did. Ride is a little more stiff (to be expected with a leveling kit) and I will be looking into a "real" 4ish inch lift later on. I think the kit on Amazon was $60 when I purchased it. For what it is, I am very happy with it and even happier that it sits perfectly level. The amount of rake on these trucks stock is crazy.

More to come, Intune is on the way and so are wheels and tires...
