SilveradoZ-71’s 2018 LTZ 6.2 build

Postby SilveradoZ-71 [OP] » Jan 29 2021, 2:30am

Traded up this past weekend to this '18 LTZ with 6.2! Installed S&B cold air intake, flowmaster FX with turndowns behind the rear axle, retrax bed cover, weather tech rain guards, step bars, and Intune i3 programmer. Truck came with a Motofab 3” front 2” rear lift and 295/70/18 Cooper At3 LTX tires. Liking it pretty good so far. she goes Monday for 5% tint on sides and rear and 20% on windshield. The only other thing I’d like to do to it is get a set of 20” chrome snowflake wheels and 35” BFG AT KO2 tires.

Next up Monday is window tint sides 5% windshield 20%. Have a rough country under seat storage box ordered as well as a swing out wheel well toolbox for the bed. Oh and the auto on fog light kit from boost auto parts.

Great job! Looking good!
But I'd stay away from the chrome snowflake wheels, especially if they're OEM....I had 22s. The chrome on the tire bead seats starts to flake off a md the seat corroded, causing pinhole leaks, that worsen with temperature changes....

They’ll be reps if that’s the route I go. I’ve heard that also about the oem ones. I forgot to mention in my last post I also have a catch can kit and a 1”rear lift block set coming to replace the 2” kit that’s on it now so it’ll set level lol.

Got my windows tinted and lowered the rear 1” today, had a 2” lift on the rear swapped it for a 1” lift. 5% on sides and back 20% on windshield. Drivers side grab handle, console organizer, and illuminated front bowtie ordered.

The tint looks great.

I've only ever gone 5% on the fronts and rears and the darkest I've gone on windshield was 35%. I was too nervous to go all the way to 20%.
