skylerwallace 2009 Silverado 1500 LTZ

Postby SkylerWallace [OP] » Jun 02 2016, 5:53am

Hello, New to the community, and thought I'd post up my Silverado since I always love to upgrade it the most I can.
Bought my silverado back in October, and it was stock besides wheels and tires.
It's a 2009 Silverado 1500 LTZ 5.3l V8.
Runs perfect no problems with it for the most part.
I plan on doing a lot to it in the future so why not share what I do to it!
Hope you enjoy!

So far what I've done
-4 inch Fabtech Lift Kit
-Window Visors, and bug Deflector
-Painting Front Grille and back bumper, and both bowties.
-Bull bar
-22 inch Light Bar mounted on bull bar
-Straight Pipe Exhaust ( took the 3rd cat out still have 2 cats connected to the o2 sensors.)
-Spray on bed liner

What I eventually want done
-7.5 inch suspension lift.
-35 inch tires
-2 inch wheel spacers
-18 inch fuel 517 matte black wheels
-black tool box
-CAI
-50 inch curved light bar

I don't make a whole lot of money so don't expect to see huge updates weekly, I do like to do small mods to it here and there. But saving up for big things such as lifts, or wheels and tires will take me some time.
Hope you guys enjoy the build, and if you guys have any input on mods or tasteful things to do to my rig let me know!
Also I love advice on things such as which kits to buy or what brands are the best for my year of truck.
Thanks and if you have any questions let me know!

*First Picture is basically how i bought it.
*Second picture is it today.

Tonight while hanging out with my dad, we went to the local Ranch and Home store and I decided to purchase a toolbox.
I have a lot of stuff just hanging around in my backseat and I could use a toolbox for a lot of things, and it was a great price so I decided to buy it.
Hope you like it.

If the paint on your antenna doesn't hold up. Antenna-x makes a nice black 50cal one, a few of us on here have it.

Thanks man yours is gorgeous too. Next plan is prolly remove side molding, then some fuel wheels, with negative offset so they come out a little more.
