I AM IN A PICKLE!

So I have a 2 inch leveling kit by Fabtech under my truck, and it rides like crap, and my upper control arm bangs on other stuff whenever I go over a hole, or gravel roads I can hear it banging around and it's annoying, so my mechanic told me the only way to get rid of it is to take off the leveling kit and go back to stock (which will never happen) Or put an actual lift kit on there.

I have been doing a bit of research on these kits and I don't know if I should cheap out and go RC and get a 3.5 inch RC and call it good. (The reviews actually aren't too bad)

Or go with something like Fabtech, or Readylift 4 inch suspension, and spend a lot more money..

I'm not sure what to do considering an actual lift voids all warranties on this thing. Or maybe I should just leave the leveling kit on there and deal with the clanking cause it doesn't cause damage.

I'm leaning towards doing the 3.5 inch kit from Ready lift, and getting all new shocks and calling it, but would like to get some feedback on options, and maybe some experiences, thanks.

The SKU Number for the readylift kit is : 69-3421

And it is actually half off right now.

Depending on how much you want to spend, BDS makes a cool over conversion kit for 2.5 inches of lift for your truck. I was drooling over the idea of doing it. Going coil over will give you the best ride possible undoubtably compared to torsion bars. But it will cost you a pretty penny.

You realize the rc 3.5in kit will actually ride worse than what you have now right? Same with the ready lift.

You could do something like this, just don’t crank the keys more than 2.5in. There is a guy at work with this kit. http://www.cognitomotorsports.com/cogni ... hcoks.html

Its been awhile since a mod.

Since I have a leveling kit on this it rides pretty hard, and my Upper Control Arms were banging on my bump stop every time I went over a little rock or something on the road.

so I did some research and decided to go with Cognito Upper control arms and balljoints with the shock extenders.

So far it rides a lot better than with the stock UCA, and it looks and feels a lot stronger than stock.

Nice! You didn’t want to spring the $1500 for their kit with the fox shocks?

I was thinking about it, but I really want the CST 3-6 Inch kit one day and I would have to buy the shocks all over again, so I went with the extenders, if I decide I like leveled too much Ill get the fox shocks for it
