Sorry, I have one more question that I should have asked earlier. Did you have to do any wheel well trimming with that setup? Thanks, Truck looks GREAT! I may copy it for my '09 Sierra!

EDIT: And since you did NOT have to re-gear can you tell us what engine and gears you have stock? Thanks Again!

I was rubbing when I turned the wheel full lock when backing up. I did end up cutting 2" off the front of the fender liner. It wasn't a big deal and you cant even tell.

I have the 5.3 and I will have to look to see what gears I have.

Damn that is one bad ass truck! Good work man

Thank you really appreciate it!

I am putting a mcgaughy's lift on my truck as well. Any suggestions or advice. did you have any trouble breaking Down the stock front shocks and switching the springs to the mcgaughy's shocks? I see that you removed the diff, could you put the spacers in one side at a time to keep from removing diff? Biggest issue you ran into while installing lift? A tool you didn't have that you wished you did?

I work in a shop where there are a few mechanics so as far as tools go we really had everything. You'll need a socket for the axle nuts and a sawzall or cut off wheel to remove some of the cross member. The rest of the tools were normal hand tools.
As far as the struts go, I have a friend with a shop across the road so I just took the old ones out of the truck and brought him them along with the news ones and he switched them over for me with his spring compression machine. You need to drop the diff. It wasn't a big deal at all. Hopefully you have a few friends that can help and are mechanics as well.

The lift is great, I haven't had any issues!
