Nice looking truck! I too have done several things that you have. I've been trying to decide about blacking out my bowties. How did you black out the Z on the emblems? Rattle can? I really want to get rid of the gold bowties that I have lived with for almost two years...

Search z71 door emblems on eBay. Lots of options to choose from.

That truck would look great with white mirror caps.

And amazon had the cheapest oem bed light kit when I bought it for my last truck. Takes about 15min to install.

Thanks. For the black Z i just went on ebay and ordered a piece of precut vinyl for it. The bowtie I ordered a aluminum replacements. Black bowtie is always one of the first things I do, cleans up the look a lot.

And yes I would love to do white mirror caps and door handles, maybe one day. But cant find any caps on ebay, so id have to buy the ready to paint and have them painted. As far as the handles, the cheapest I can find them for is $475... ridiculous.

bed lights will be coming soon though. as well as a catch can, really need to get that.

Haven't done much to the truck over the last couple months. I did end up getting the oem bedlight kit. I ordered a set of the amp powersteps today. Should be putting them on this weekend.

disable them in the winter seeing you are from an area where you'll get snow and salt. I see a ton of them broke up here in the salt region.

Yup. I've heard of some problems in the salt. But the last few winters have not been that bad at all here, no snow yet this winter either. Plus I try to keep the truck out of the salt when I can. Have a company truck I drive all week.
