I wish I could do the sub under the back seat, but I got kids that still spill any liquid they touch.
Install looks nice. Good job

Wife (5-foot-something-really-short) has been complaining about barely seeing over the dash from the passenger seat, so I lifted the rear 1” and all is good. At least until I get a set of power leather ones hopefully at some point.

The spacers are made out of wood just to see how they work. Have steel ones now on order from McMaster-Carr.

The seat has also been shaking quite a bit and no wonder since all of the four nuts holding the rear to the track were crazy loose. :o Pic shows the two on the right side with the front one already tightened and the other one the way it was. The other side was pretty much similar.

Guess I'm going to go check my seats as soon as I'm able to. Important to make the wife happy. Mine is 5'5' and hasn't complained about the passenger seat, but has been driving me around lately, and says the driver's seat sucks. Perhaps because it is so conformed to the way I sit...

I kind of see my wife’s point since it does feel like the seats on the K2xx trucks are lower than in the NNBS trucks. Also the backseat.

Took the day off to recover from the weekend bike trip  so had time to work on the truck for once.

Swapped the wood spacers under the passenger from seat to metal ones and sprayed a bottle of CRC Intake Valve & Turbo Cleaner into the intake. Heat soaking now and will head for a drive on about 45 minutes. We’ll see what happens.

Drove the truck about half an hour after letting it heat soak for an hour and got a few puffs of smoke when punching it. Feels like it might be idling tad bit smoother. Any other potential improvements remain to be seen.

Did a little road trip earlier today and picked up a center console to replace the jump seat. Now I just need to get the harness from Harness Dr. to get things to work properly and I’ll be good to go.

Had to drive a little across the border to Oklahoma to pick the thing up, but price more than made up for it compared to what was offered locally.

Just ordered one from Phil. He told me it would be 4 weeks.

But I have also been wondering why the harness from jump seat can't be pulled out and made to work

It probably could, as long as you have the schematics and know where to splice and all that. I’m not that advanced in electrical stuff, so pretty sure I’ll be better off spending the money. :?
