Jones's 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71 Resurrection

Figured I'd make a build thread on this truck since it should make for an interesting read so I'll start from the beginning.
My Stepdad purchased this 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 back in 2009 with 30k miles on the odometer. He drove the truck for several years before parking it in 2016 at his old house that is currently vacant. The truck was parked due to having a bad misfire problem along with no horn, cruise control, parking brake was completely gone, and had a slow rear main leak.
Since then the truck has sat under a tree collecting dirt while the paint started to fade, I decided I'd make an offer to bring this truck back to life.
First he was reluctant to sell the truck because he liked having it sit at the vacant house to make everyone think someone still lived there to keep unwanted guests out, but then after some thinking he decided it was time to let it go rather than let it sit beyond repair. I asked him what he wanted for the truck, and he told me $1,250. Immediately said yes and since then the truck has been undergoing extensive repair and tune ups.
The first couple weeks of messing with it I replaced the following:
1) Knock Sensors & Harness
2) Plugs & Wires
3) Exhaust Manifold Bolts
4) Wiper Pulse Module
5) Air Bag Clock Spring
6) Coolant Flush
7) Oil Change
Still the truck was having a misfire so the shop found out that the O2 sensor was bad and the catalytic converter was completely blown out so had them fix that as well. Got those code cleared up but was still getting the knock sensor code. So had the shop take a look and low and behold the front knock sensor came unplugged.
Problem solved. Truck now runs like a top with zero issues. Now onto the next step of the restorations process. The Cleanup.
