Did you ever get oil pressure readings? Does your truck have an oil pressure gauge on the dash to watch?

Thanks. Yes, oil pressure needs to be checked. My truck doesn’t have dash oil pressure gage. I am still looking for adapter to hook oil pressure gage. Oil lite comes with key on & goes away after starting. I don’t see any plugs or fittings on oil filter housing. To remove oil pressure sensor, hard to remove, behind intake manifold, plastic cover, by fire wall.
There is adapter in place of oil filter to check pressure. None at stores around here. Only on line.
Any other spots you can think of.
Otherwise to take intake manifold, remove oil sender unit, install fittings, install intake manifold to get oil pressure reading.
2010 Silverado 1500, LS, 4WD, 4.8 engine.
My scanner shows fuel pressure not oil pressure.

Can you get an ODB II reader that will output oil pressure? Well I hate to be that guy and mention it but have to looked into problems with the o-ring on the oil pump pickup? I had almost identical symptoms as you. Pressure drop off at warm up and barely able to maintain pressure at a hot idle without "low oil pressure warning." Chased many possible causes like you have with valve covers off, sea foam, rockers off, etc. Ultimately, what fixed it was replacing the o-ring on the pickup. They square off with time and heat cycles and allow pump to suck air. On mine, it led to cam damage from prolonged low oil pressure. I replaced with same color new o-ring ($3) and it brought pressure up to 40 psi hot idle, 55 psi cold driving highway speed. What's a pain is you're 4wd and you have to droop the axle down to get the oil pan off. Some do it through timing cover but that has its own issues.

You shouldn't have to pull the intake to swap the pressure sending unit. It's not easy but can be done.
