Thats a very open ended question. Lots of variables..u could go 200k miles, 300k miles or more..or it could blow up tomarow. It all depends on how well its been taken care of, but even then, its hard to say. So many moving parts it takes just one to screw it all up..but i would say an average ur looking at maybe 200k with regular maintenance issues.

Welcome to the site Perez. I also have a 04 Silverado 2500HD with 6.0L. While I am having issues with mine at 170k I know a couple of guys that are over 200k on their 6.0L. They do some heavy hauling and also play in the mud.

Like koolz71 said that is very open ended question. If you just bought it, I strongly recommend a good cleanse with sea foam and a good quality oil. Once I get done with my sea foam treatments, I am going to try AMSOIL.

Happy trucking!
If everybody thinks they own the best truck, then why are so many fords, dodges, and toyotas on the road?

Basically it's garbage in and garbage out. You treat it with respect and it will run a LONG time.

I agree with everyone elses advice, my 1500HD is sitting at 119, almost 120 now. I did the normal maintenance, fuel filter, full service oil, air filter, throttle body clean, MAS clean, plugs and wires, PCV valve, flushed tranny fluid. I ran a lot of lucas through the fuel and then replaced the filter, looked absolutly horrible. Seafoamed the engine with no real smoke display, not sure whether to be happy or upset about that one. I ran some engine cleaner through the crankcase before changing the oil the full synthetic. I try to be good to her, (and my wallet) no real foot stomping and let her warm up on cold days before going over 2k rpms.

Also replaced headlights and DRLs as those were shot.

This week I will be replacing the upper ball joints and outer tie rods as those are all blown at the boots. Along with tire rotation and more inspections underbody.

I've got a '01 6.0 with 150K; regular oil changes and maintenance by the book and it runs like new. No mods other than a CAI and true duel exhaust through a pair of FM 40s...but that will change very soon. ;)
