That diesel probably had double the torque, the gasser has.

the newer ones have torque management making off the line take offs seem less theatric.

My work has a 2013 Extended Cab 2500 and it seems to have good power. It will spin the tires from a stop when flooring it. It wont win any races but gets up and goes.

I understand - I can get a scratch but not a spin.

Forgot about torque management. Turning that way down on my old 1500 made a world of difference.

Traction control kicks in pretty quick too.

What do you mean, who said I was an employee? Being the mechanic and part owner of the company, I do drive every one of our 16 vehicles and am responsible for keeping the vehicles running and not doing stupid crap with them either. Like I said it will spin the tires when flooring it from a stop, does that mean I drive it like I stole it?

jake2250 wrote:Gotta say I am pleased with the GUaG with my 2012 6.0 2500, 4x4 with the 3:73 half throttle off the line has a good push back in the seat, full or three quarter mash and it snaps your head. When i originally test drove it I jumped on it just as we got off the lot and I was pleased, I commented that it must have the 4:10s.
Now with that being said, I was not happy with initial fuel mileage and took it to the dealer for the free oil change and commented about the mileage, they did a complete engine diagnosis and gave me a print out of the findings, fuel pressure was at the top limit. Dealer said he could turn it down, I would get better mileage but loose towing and hauling power.
We left it alone! I would suggest a trip to your dealer and you express your concerns before you start shelling out money first.

I think you are right. I did call them about it. They said that was how the gassers differ from the diesels.
I will talk to them this week when I carry it back to get seats worked on.
