Stabilitrak, flashing check engine, hair pulling

Stabilitrak, flashing check engine, hair pulling

Hello fellas, and ladies. Been a while. A lot has happened since my last post; honestly all the issues with my 2011, worked themselves out. ( I totaled it...,lol). Anyway, to the point; I bought a 2008 VortecMAX, beautiful truck. Within three weeks of owning a vehicle, check engine light comes on. My VeePeak scan tool claimed there was a oil pressure sensor code EP0304 random misfire code and last but not least, O2 sensor to bank one. But here’s the kicker every time the check engine light would come on the stabilitrak would come on as well. So naturally I chase down the obvious culprits I put brand new iridium plugs and I replaced the single O2 sensor like a dummy, replaced all the coils with the wires checked the MAP/MAF sensors, And fuel pressure sensor and throttle position sensor everything seem to be working just fine, except I would still randomly get the stabilitrak light flash, which immediately led to flashing check engine. Any ideas guys? Check the photos please. Maybe I’m just not seeing the issue?.?.

This one shows pending. Which seems like it’s working properly.

The traction and cruise lights came on because the CEL disabled those systems, this is an intentional design choice for safety.

There is only one reason a check engine light flashes. A misfire. NO OTHER REASON.

Also, the stabilitrack light comes on when there's an engine issue, especially misfires.

Forget the stabilitrack until you fix the misfire. Could be a bad new plug or you may have accidentally cracked one installing them, it happens.
