How can I add an attachment to a post. Occasionally I want to add a photo.

Photos can be uploaded by using the "upload attachment" button toward the bottom of the text box you're typing in. Browse for your photo, add the file, then click in your text where you want the photo to appear and click on 'place inline'.

Videos must be posted to another site, such as YouTube, then the link posted in your thread.

Thanks, I don't add attachments that often. I'll keep the instructions and use them next time I want to add a pic. to a post.

Also, if you upload pics using the method Gary described, remember to take the pics in landscape mode. Otherwise they upload sideways.

You can also create a photo gallery. From the main page, look to the right, under "user menu". Then, "your photo albums".
Once uploaded, you can link to those photos. It's an extra step, but I like having a gallery of all of my truck photos as part of the site.

You can also use a site like imgur.com to upload a pic to then it will give you a bbcode link to post here.
