Post approval II

Postby Larryjb [OP] » Dec 28 2016, 5:59am

I'm new here and I got the expected notification that my first post would have to be approved when I posted in the Introductions forum. I haven't seen my port there show up so, presumably it hasn't yet been approved. fair enough, I'm fine with that. Oddly, I've been able to make other posts in other sub-forums. I'm not complaining, but I didn't think those posts would show up.

A second strange thing is happening. I've now had 5 welcome PM from the admin. I know you guys have been waiting decades for me to join, but really, 4 welcomes would suffice :)

somewhere in this site there is a black hole where posts, pictures and even a member or two have entered, never to be seen again.

I got this reply from my post in the new members:
"Your post:
Hopefully you won't mind a Tahoe owner on your site. I got some very good
information about the knock sensors from this forum that I haven't seen
anywhere else. This impressed me a lot, and I hope to find more very useful
and practical advice and help for my 02 Tahoe which has the 5.3L.

Well, we do...please see our Creedo below and on the main page."

How unfortunate, how disappointing, how insulting. These vehicles have the same underpinnings.

I do not want to be associated with such shortsightedness. I could have lied about owning a Silverado but decided to be honest about it.

Go ahead and ban me. I won't be back anyway.

While you may have some great information about the engine that is the same in both vehicles this is one of the few sites that only caters to the only to full size GM trucks. And it makes the forum much much less cluttered.

Really no different than a truck with a shell on it.

Would a trophy make you feel better? Oh wait, then I would have to give everyone in the thread a trophy.
