Unable to post pictures?

Postby xraypro1 [OP] » Jul 26 2020, 1:21am

Recently, I have wanted to post pictures in a post but have been unable to. When I attempt to do that I get a picture of an hourglass that says something along the lines of unable to upload at this time. Is this a problem on my end of some sort, or is the website undergoing maintenance or something?

Awesome, so that probably establishes that the problem is on my end. Anyone have any suggestions about what the problem might be? It's quite frustrating.

When posting, I click on the upload attachment button, then select file, but then it takes me to a page that has a large hourglass and says "can't load content at the moment". There has to be a cause, and also a solution. Is there any possibility that for some reason the moderators have blocked me, perhaps mistakenly?

Thanks, Bill.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Use another host site. I use postimage.org and then copy and paste the think here in the body of your post.

I appreciate the suggestion but using photo hosting sites has it's own problems. And the bottom line is, I shouldn't have to. The forum is capable of having photos uploaded directly into the post as demonstrated above by RollaMo.

The question still remains, how come I cannot? I really wish that an admin would weigh in on this, someone who has site access behind the scenes, to see if there is some reason.

Your permission to post photos is good to go. The problem must be elsewhere.

I appreciate you checking and eliminating one possibility. I am still hopeful perhaps someone will come along with the solution. I'm no technical genius but I'm far from incompetent. And the problem I'm experiencing is real. I cannot post pictures, and there has to be a solution.

I'm accessing the website and working from an Android phone, if that might help anyone think of a reason this is happening.

Can you tell me the size of an image that you are trying to upload and the type?
