Hey guys First day and first post here! I am tyler and with my 2008 gmc sierra i put 265 tires on her and when i crank the wheel either way the tire rubs the mud flat and makes a weird noise, 100% its rubbing the mud flap, my question is if i put a leveling kit to raise it 2 inches do you think it will give the tire clearance so it wont rub anymore?

Stock rims and exactly what size tires do you have, just posting 265 is not much help.

Ok..go back and read your original post with my correction and then all will make sense. Don't question me...I'm usually right.

LMAO I had to go re-read the original post. ......

But to your question, I think the 2" level will allow your 265's to clear no problem. I have stock 17's and 285/70/17's with mud flaps, a 2" level and no rub.

Only in a chevy, grammar cop. Not a easy job here but someone has to do it.

Something doesn't seem right to me. 265/70r17 is a stock tire and wheel size. Shouldn't rub at all. Shouldn't need a leveling kit.
