So my birthday is early June. Last year it happened to fall on a Wednesday. Tuesday is trash pick up day. So Tuesday morning as I'm putting out the trash my wife was heading out to work. As she's pulling out of the driveway she rolls the window down to say bye and says to me..."so what do you want for your birthday anyway?" I casually look over at my 2008 Pathfinder with over 100k mi on it and reply..." How about a new truck?" She laughs. I laugh and she drives off.

Later that same day I'm at work and get a text from her. Says..."so you really want a new truck?" And I'm like oh shit she's actually thinking about it!! Now I'm gettin a bit excited! I reply "Sure!" She replies "Ok, I'm off on Friday. See what you like and we'll go looking" I'm like Haha! YES!!!

And the story goes...
Here she sits 1 week later lol

Towards the middle of August I added a Rough Country 2" level kit ( lower strut spacer only) and 2" Ready Lift rear blocks.
A week later some BFG KO2's 33" were also put on. These tires absolutely rock. They've got to be the best tires in snow I've had. Before these I was sold on Bridgestone Dueler REVO's.

Over the next 4 days this guy completed some unbelievable work! So much thanks to him and his staff for my new toy.
The plan was...

- BDS 6" lift with Fox DSC coilover upgrade and Fox rears with new Glide Ride springs.
- DPR Stealth wheels. 20x10 and -12 offset
- Toyo RT's 35x12.50
- aFe Power catback exhaust
- Yukon 4.10 gear swap
- AMP Power steps
- Airaid Jr CAI
- Bushwhacker flairs

and this is what I received on Thursday afternoon! I was PUMPED!!!

Happy to say Phase 2 has been completed and that's the entire build from day 1 to today! I am now broke with a grin on my face from cheek to cheek! lol

Time to start saving for Phase 3!

ps I think the wife regrets my birthday present and is ready to disown me at this point. I just keep telling her I'm having a midlife crisis and to just be happy I'm not out having an affair! Haha.

How much was the front grille/Bumper swap without the lights?

Love your truck! bought a 2015 1500 Crewcab shortbox LS in June as well before our wedding! But trucks in Canada are a little more expensive nowadays hahaha. So Im kinda broke now hahaha. But slowly adding mods! Yours looks stunning! Good Job!
