Hey all, I've had this truck since Oct of 2015. Just now getting around to getting it posted in here and showing the progress from where I've started! I haven't done a huge overhaul, but I am slowly making this truck fit my needs! Excited to keep finding new things to upgrade on the truck.

The first two pictures were the day of purchase for me. The truck already had step sides, the bed rhino lined, and a rugged cover hardtop folding bed cover. This was a huge head start for me and a serious cash saver!

Almost all of these mods were possible due to the awesome DIY's on this website.

List of mods/upgrades completed so far:

Front Driver / Pass side window tint & brow to 20%. Also bought AVS vent shades.

Next up was a trailer purchase so I would be able to haul my bikes to the tracks for racing / riding.

Installed weathertech no drill mud flaps all around.

Added tow mirrors. Most trucks I've drove had these and I was quite used to them.

Cleaned throttle body about 3 months into owning.

Installed the Airaid MIT tube while I already had it apart. Excuse the dirty engine. This was done in the winter.

Mods/Upgrades Continued:

Onto the interior:

I had to link to the gallery for these images because they kept uploading rotated for some reason.

First purchase for the interior were seat covers. Bought these off amazon for about $300 and they fit like a glove. Friends thought they were the original seats and couldn't tell they were seat covers.

Added Husky weatherbeater floor mats for front and back seating. Absolutely love this. Also shown in this picture is LED foot well lighting I installed.

Wired a back-up camera. Makes hooking up to my trailer a breeze now.

Built myself an underseat storage box from the DIY on this site.

Upgraded the front / rear speakers to Kickers. Utilized the factory mounts with the install.

This is my truck present day!

I'm waiting on LEDs to arrive to redo the dome lights, cargo light, and license plate light. I also have a 20" light bar on the way to install in the front bumper along with LED strips to light the bed when the bed cover is on. Will post pictures when items are in and installed!

Feedback is always welcomed!

Replaced all the interior lighting tonight with LEDs from vleds.com. Amazing how much brighter it is now. It's like day time whenever they are flipped on. I have LEDs on the way for the cargo light and license plate now. Excuse the cluttered rear seat.

Thanks, Prof! Yours looks great so far! Mine is actually considered Midnight Blue Metallic. It almost looks black from a distance.
Yeah same with mine! And when its dark it for sure looks black. Hell when I went to go buy it, I was sure it was a black truck! Maybe that's the color I have, but mine is a 13 not an 11. Yours looks good for sure though! Two totally different styles we have going but we started with nearly the same truck, pretty interesting!

Right?! Looking forward to seeing how yours progresses! Love the red sidewall lettering on your tires. Fits the truck very well!
Thanks man! I agree with the tires a big reason why I picked them up! They had good reviews and I got one of the last ones in this size, they discontinued them in the 33x12.50x17 as far as I can tell!

Got the light bar in the mail yesterday and spent the evening getting it installed. Went with the CPT7 light bar and I have no complaints. Mounted it using the RC light bar kit. Had to drill new holes for the mount but nothing too hard. Love it so far! Also have a bug deflector to install along with my bed lighting up next.

Whats the sound comparison on the speaker upgrade? I've had these in my amazon cart for a long time just never pulled the trigger.

I would say it's a huge difference. I started with just the fronts. When I adjusted the balance between the front and rear, it was night and day. Once I got the rears in too, it sounded perfect. You can distinctly hear all the notes now that I sometimes didn't even hear with the stock speakers. Pull the trigger!

Make sure to look up the diy on here to retain the factory mounts. Any questions, give me a shout!
