I am trying to remove the clutch fan from the water pump pully. Can't get it to break loose. Soaked it with Kroil, clamped the pully but it won't break loose. But for the plastic fan I would put some heat on the nut, which is 1 - 7/16 " Suggestions appreciated .

Need some shock. Air hammer works like a charm on stuck fan hubs.
They also make fan tools you can strike with a hammer to achieve the same thing.

I tried a bunch of different stuff. Including renting a fan clutch removal tool from the zone. But it just didn't work.
Then I went to HF and got a 15in adjustable wrench. Put it on there and as you loosen it, hit it with a hammer. After about 30 seconds of turning and hitting, it broke loose.
I made sure to put a little anti-seize on the threads so the next time won't be so bad.
