2007-2013 Silverado 3 red black wires by fuse box

Hi I have 2011 Silverado. I've read about the two red/black wires that connect to the front of the fuse box. The one under the brake cylinder and the one between the fuse box and the driver side fender.

When I got the truck a few years ago, one wire was already connect to the silver pole but it was neither of those two wires. It's a red and black wire that is coming from the harness that connect to the bottom of the fuse box.

I connected the one under the brake cylinder a couple yrs ago to give power to the 7 pin connector so I could power some lights in the bed.

The wire between the fuse box and fender is still there taped up

I was wondering what the red/black wire that's on the silver pole that comes from the harness that goes to the fuse box is though?

Any help would be appreciated

Could it be the corrosion on the connections that is causing things not to work? Your fuse panel is really dirty, too. I'd get that all cleaned-up and clean those connections before I tried anything else.
It could be. I'll clean it up and see if that does anything, but mainly I was wondering if anyone knew what the wire attached to the silver pole is for since the one between fender and box is still taped up.

I came across this post on the forum

It has what seems to be the same wire I'm wondering about connected to the silver pole. It's not the one between fender and fuse box.

Any idea what this is meant for?

Was looking at schematics and only other red black wire was something to do with battery isolator, but not sure if it's that wire.
