The functions on my drivers door have been intermittent since about 2 weeks ago, could close door few times and get to work. Now nothing, seem like truck thinks door is open. Radio stays on and dome light stays off, it comes on occasionally when start truck. Truck was taken care of and i have checked fuses and visually inspected wires in jam and inside door panel, look tight and right. Was hoping for some ideas before I slice into factory wire loom.

First thing that comes to mind is the wiring where it goes thru the door jamb area. Fairly common to find broken wires in the boot.

Yeah, you can't just look at the rubber boot. You have to pull the harness, get the boot and loom off it, and examine the wires. You can do continuity tests from end to end, but it may or may not show which wires are the problem, as meters use a very small amount of current to do the test (which makes the test more likely to succeed), and the wire may have continuity or not, depending on how it's flexed. Even direct visual examination of the wire may not tell you, as the insulation may look fine, but the wires within it may be broken.

Does everything on the inside driver door wiring harness work independently? Now I am thinking since power mirrors, windows, locks, heated seats or mirrors dont have power. It has to be an interuption between power source (wiring, fuse, relay, etc.) and first powered item plugged into harness. Will investigate in morning.

We found three broken/stripped wires that were shorting out inside the "boot" in the door. Most of these wires have their connection at the fuse box on the side of the dash. It was causing the engine to stay running until the door was opened wide and other sorts of weird things.

Like RedSLed mentioned. Check the door jamb, I think your going to find broken wires. I had the same issue with the right side power mirror on my 2014. I pulled off the door panel and speaker on the drivers side door and was able to pull the harness through the door jamb and out the speajer hole. I found about 5 broken wires. A little solder and some heat shrink tubing, and all is well.

Found the problem, yall were exactly right. Inside door jam wire boot the black ground wire was completely broken and nic in blue wire. Reterminated wires, and works great. Really appreciate the help. (Just FYI, disconnected harness plug from fuse block on side of dash, and small plug below e-brake petal, got boot loose in door jam. Then fished wires through hole for boot on cab. I did not remove door panel.)
