Tuning is going to be the biggest bang for your buck. I have the Diablosport InTune and haven't looked back since. And since our trucks are currently under warranty, Diablosport doesn't leave a trail on the computer, thus the dealer never knows you tuned the truck. But the tuner does perk up those engines quite a bit, especially if Lew tunes it. But since you've already did your exhaust, how about adding on a cold air intake to help it breathe a little better? Won't see much performance gains from those parts individually, but get them all together, custom tune the truck, then you are talking a different story.

Lew (Diablew) now offers our CAI's and can do a custom tune for you with it. I also know that BBP seen the best gains with our CAI with their street tune. We are sponsor of this forum, have an extremely high quality CAI made right here in the USA which features a enclosed and insulated airbox and a ceramic coated intake tube to keep your IAT low, and coupled with a tune you will see some great gains. Our CAI will not void your warranty, a tune will. Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to help. Also, you can see our CAI on Speed Channels TruckU! tonight at 10 PM EST near the end of the episode. Thanks!!

Our intakes our $399.99 shipped (right now we are offeing Free SHipping on our website) If you would like to PM me I can also provide you with a code for forum members which will take an additional $10 off.

As far as Dyno "proof" yes we have Dyno sheets. I always do find it funny though that people ask for Dyno sheets from the manufacturer because quite frankly we could have our Dyno tuner adjust things to show bigger gains than what the CAI really gets. The only reason I mention that is because many of our competitors advertise some very inflated and unrealistic numbers when it comes to gains over stock. We test our systems on a load cell chassis Dyno and we do not have a fan blowing on the front with the hood open to try and allow cooler air into the system than what it would be pulling in while you are actually driving. The system gets an average of an 11 rwhp gain on the 4.8L, we had some pulls with a little more, but average gain was 11 rwhp, I believe the BBP testing shows even bigger gains than that but was on a 5.3L

Aside from just HP, you will notice an increased throttle response, more TQ, better sound at WOT, and you can see improved fuel economy. I believe during our testing we were seeing around a 2.3 mpg increase with a mix of hwy and city driving, that was driving conservative, but you get the idea.

Let me know if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to help, also make sure to check out our website, we have a lot of great information on there as well as tons of testimonials, videos, testing methods, etc.

Thanks!

if anyone is interested in getting one of the best cold air intake systems available, let me know.. I am an authorized dealer/reseller of the Cold Air Inductions, Inc. cold air intakes... I have a couple of them on my own vehicles, and the quality can't be beat...

regular retail/msrp is 399.99 as was mentioned above... but I can do a little better for you.. I can get it for you for just $380 - shipped!

comes powder-coated in "near-chrome" - http://www.coldairinductions.com/catalo ... image/426/

or powder-coated in black - http://www.coldairinductions.com/catalo ... image/455/

CAI intakes surpass their competitors with superior quality of materials and construction, insulated airboxes that feature removable lids w/ a filter inspection window & ceramic coated intake tubes to reduce heat soak. All of their CAI's performance gains are backed up with accurate and real-world dyno testing to show actual horsepower and torque gains at the wheels. These products are a direct replacement for the OEM air box. No modifications required.

Gains:
+ 11 Horsepower (rwhp)**
+ 5 ft-lb Torque**
+ Up to 3 MPG Increase in fuel Economy*

Performance gains indicated is to the wheels (whp), with tests done on an otherwise stock vehicle. We test our intake systems under real driving conditions, and dyno test to the wheels with the hood closed. Many competitors test with the hood open and advertise gains at the crank, which results in inflated hp numbers that do not represent real world performance gains.

Intake System Includes:
• Insulated Air Box
• Removable Air Box Lid with viewing window for easy filter inspection with viewing window for easy filter inspection
• 4.0"" Ceramic Coated Intake Tube
• High Performance Air Filter (CF-9400)
• Black Silicone Elbow and Stainless Clamps
• Installation instructions

*Fuel Economy is based off of many factors such as the type of fuel you use, tire inflation, the speed and gear at which you are driving, rate of acceleration, engine maintenance, excessive idling, the use of cruise control, the grade of motor oil you use, and the condition of your air filter. For those reasons fuel economy losses and/or gains vary and are not guaranteed.

**Dyno tests and gains reported were on a 5.3L engine, smaller or larger engines may see less or more gains varying with their engine size.

Horsepower Gains indicated is to the wheels (whp). CAI Inc. test their systems under real world driving conditions, and dyno test their products to the wheels with the hood closed. Many of their competitors test with the hood open, and under conditions that are not applicable to real world driving. This results in inflated hp numbers that are to the crank, and do not represent real world performance gains. CAI Inc. believes in bringing you the most accurate and applicable information possible, which is why they test the way they do.

so if anyone is interested in one for their 2007+ truck, let me know!!

Thanks!
-Lew
