Evening .... I have a 2011 LS Silverado with a stock mirror that needs to be changed out ... I miss having a compass like my old truck ... Found one on Ebay that is suppose to fit and the seller mentioned a 7 pin connector ... I took the light fixture out and found a female plug that has tow rows of 8 pin holes ... Is that for the mirror? ... Should have taken a picture but was losing daylight and didn't think of it .... I swapped out the center console and found the extra wires for the 12v plug that is inside so I kind of figured that the wires for the mirror must be up there in the overhead also ... Thanks for your advise and help

I was not aware that the 2011's ever came with a compass in them like the previous generation trucks. Some do have a reverse camera display in them though.
My just had a regular mirror ... I was hoping that the wiring harness I found in the overhead was for the mirror with a compass ... don't know why I just like having one ... Thought maybe someone had changed one out ... I am going to take a picture of the plug and post it later ... Thanks for the reply
