Sometimes, my radio does not work, says "searching for internet", you can reboot the radio and it works, or turn off engine it will work, about 10% of the time it does not work.

Anyone having this issue?

My 2024 does the same thing. Been to the dealer twice, no resolution. Have a ticket open with GM, no real resolution there either. They act like they have never heard of this problem before, but if you read enough forums, and do a little google searching, this seems to be a recuring issue since about 2019 and they haven't fixed it yet.

I am having the same issue with my 2024 RST. Radio fades in and out even if I remove my phone from apple car play. At times, I do not have sound or turn signal noise. I have only had my truck 2 months. Of course all the dealerships are making appointments 3-4 weeks out. Can I fix this issue or is it something that needs to see a dealer for?

Probably not since it's most likely software related. And I wouldn't even bother trying to diagnose myself since the truck is under warranty. Yeah, suck to have to wait for the appointment, but it is what it is...

Park in the driveway, aiming the truck right at the main showroom, put it in neutral, rev up the motor to about 4k rpm, shift into drive and release the brakes, maintaining the engine rpm. Allow the vehicle to come to a stop on it's own.

Yea I think we figured it out tonight. Have a 2024 Silverado. Seems like the problem started when wife and I got new iPhones. Sometimes sound and turn signal click worked, sometimes not, out of nowhere. Pretty sure the problem is a conflict between Apple Car Play and Google assistant. If you look on your truck screen you might even see Apple Car Play no longer appears. I had to plug my iPhone into the jack to bring it back. But then it appeared "grayed out". So if apple car play no longer appears, plug it in to bring it back (there are online videos for this).
Then, what we did was "disconnect" the phone(s) in the truck system. Then tell your phone(s) to FORGET "my Chevrolet". Go into truck settings and disable Google Assistant (have to be parked to do this). Then add phone(s) using Apple car play in your truck & "My Chevrolet" on your phone Bluetooth. A lot of people are having this problem, and they are replacing all kinds of components and it's not working. I'm quite certain the issue is a software conflict.
Let me know if it works. Good luck Dude.

New update(10/01/2025). I have now had 5 program updates at the dealer. 1 new Amp and 1 new radio. Still same issue. Still have an ongoing case With Chevy and now a BBB case. No one can seem to find a fix. Update. I have now had 2 program updates and the amplifier replaced. I am still having the same issue. My dealer is now telling me that my apple I-Phone is too new and that GM does not support a 14 or new phone?!?!? I was told my last visit (03/31/2025) that Apple and GM are trying to work out the issue. I have had my truck for 5 months. I would really like to have a radio that will play through a whole song without fading in/out or not work at all. I know I have a warranty but who has the time to constantly take my truck into the dealership all the time.

I don't know if I sent the below to you or not, and I hadn't heard about GM not supporting 14 or newer, I'm sure that's possible because my problem started when I got a 15. However I strongly suspect this is a conflict between Apple CarPlay and google assistant. I used the below procedure and my 15 is working via fine Apple CarPlay, with Google turned off, good luck, here's my post:
