4L60E ATF Choice

Hey Guys, new to here, so I have I 2008 Silverado 1500 with the 4L60E, I rebuilt a smoked one that I got cheap from a buddy, did some upgrades, wide 2-4 band, corvette servo, boost valve, plus a bunch of sonnax pieces and parts here and there, circle d 300mm converter on the way, basically my last dilemma is choosing an ATF, should I just go with parts store brand synthetic dex VI or is it worth the extra money to get a racing ATF like redline D6 or similar?

Dexron 6 for me. Should be about 10.5 quarts if it was rebuilt completely dry with a rebuilt torque converter. And please heed the owners manual trans fluid dipstick check procedure. It's more complicated than a simple remove, read and reinsert.

In my opinion, any major brand Dex VI would be fine. Fluids like Redline and Amsoil, while being very high quality, are overkill. Again, just my opinion.

thanks for the input guys, got me leaning towards some ac delco full syn dex 6, its cheap and if my stock trans is still going with 220k with literally zero maintenance or fluid changes it should be fine in the next one.
