80'S Front end question

Hey guys,

So I got bored and started looking at trucks on Ebay and such to pass the time, and I have a question about the 80's K series trucks. Out of curiousity what models did they do the dual side by side headlights on as opposed to the normal stacked headlights (picture attached)? I can't seem to find a pattern to it, and it's hit and miss on which trucks seem to have them.

I had an '87 K10 and the stacked headlights were part of the upgraded grille package. Center strip on the grille was also body colored.

In 1988 the front ends of the 3/4 ton, 1 ton, Blazers, Jimmys, and Suburban had those front ends... They were called R/V trucks, because C/K was moved onto the new style trucks, the GMT400's...

So it was an option until 1988? I love those style front ends on those trucks

Wasn't available until 1988 or 1989, if it's on an 1987 and older truck it was swapped onto it…
