I have a 2006 gmc sierra 2500 with a duramax allison 6spd combo. Looking to do a transmission oil change. But there are two different options available for the internal filter deep pan and shallow.

How can i spot the difference ?

The deep pan refers to the 4L80 and not the 1000 Allison.

The Allison has an internal filter + an external spin-on.

The AC Delco parts lookup only shows 1 filter.
