I have no idea if these trucks are easy to steal. Has anyone added an extra layer of anti theft devices such as hidden kill switches or an alarm system. My biggest worry is not from smash and grab but hook and go.
Someone should tell that to the, um, shall we say, tax-free, tuition free, welfare collecting people who live on their own designated land up here  those trucks get stolen like hotcakes up here, especially if they're modified. Super easy to get into, so they drive it away where the Ontario police aren't allowed to patrol, take all the aftermarket goodies off to sell, and burn the truck. Happens way too often. Just ask Rich (05Canuck)...guaranteed that's what happened to his '05ferraiolo1 said:Nbs trucks aren't exactly all the rage when it comes to theft. I wouldn't worry about it.
But if some one wants your truck bad enough. A hidden kill switch wouldn't stop them, and if it did, you would have a mangled truck after they gave up on it.

I like a mix of camouflaged and obvious cameras. Having only camouflaged cameras isn't a deterrent.hatzie said:High res camouflaged cameras recording my driveway.

The literal translation is "Kill them. For the Lord knows those that are His own." Very early 13th century supposedly said by the papal Legate to his military leaders just prior to the Beziers Massacre in 1209.Rambodog said:"Kill them all! I have a motion flood light on the driveway and a German Shepard that loves to hang out in the garage. Has her own chair, an oversized camp style that she absolutely loves. When you let her out, she B lines to that chair. She stays out all night by her choice. Garage is wood heated for the cold season. The fire box can get things really warm so I leave the door open like 6" or so and it's screened so rain and snow doesn't come inside too easily. If a pin drops out of place, she is on it. She is my alarm and has very very few false alarms. I can see the driveway from my bedroom.

The deterrent is the fact that I have a vehicle locator with a geofence and I will retrieve my property. I will not be pleasant about it either.cfesting said:I like a mix of camouflaged and obvious cameras. Yeah that's great and all but I have better things to do. I'd rather have an actual deterrent, meaning prevent the theft and hassle to begin with. But you be you.hatzie said:The deterrent is the fact that I have a vehicle locator with a geofence and I will retrieve my property.
