All the bad remarks about after market steering and suspension components I been reading while sifting through the threads here has me hoping a majority of those who have used TRQ will say they are good, no defects, quick failure, etc.

No experience with their parts but do appreciate their videos. If they are inexpensive, they are probably not long for this world. There's a reason the original parts lasted so long.

I thought I paid about 3/4 as much as GM parts because I didn't pick the cheapest available thinking I would get garbage. So I was hoping picked maybe second best. I don't know what any of "moog non problem solver line, mevotech non ttx line, and any other duralast quality product" means.

As for getting the job done for time period commensurate with their prices, for the driving we do, and working from home, having almost everything we need delivered, only driving to doctors and pharmacy, I hope they last at least 5 years, 10 would be really great.

Moog PS and Mevotech TTX are both OE upgraded replacements.

Moog non PS, and regular lines, like TRQ, are direct OE replacements, similar to the store brand "duralast" from auto zone, etc. There is nothing wrong with them at baseline. Most would agree that it would be unlikely to see a service life longer than the OE part it replaces, but similarly should not have an automatically shorter service life excepting rotating parts / bearings where base materials and tolerances become of ultimate importance.

To save money vs OE replacements, there are two roads.

Cheaper parts without longer service life or performance benefit.

Upgraded parts that are more robust than OE and last longer while also providing some form of performance benefits. This costs more at the time of purchase, but should increase your enjoyment while providing more ability and/or more service life.

Sounds like I shouldn't have bought the wheel hubs, outer tie rods, steering rack, power steering pump, brake calipers, and control arms with ball joints from them. I guess the Moog coil springs from 1A Auto might have been a good bet! Maybe the powersteering oil cooler and power steering lines I bought from them will last a good long time!

Moog is a brand with Problem Solver being a "line" of products. So the "non problem solver" means that you are not buying the "problem solver" line. The problem solver line is the best, the non problem solver is second best.
Duralast is Autozone's brand. They sell cheap shit.
Mevotech is a brand. TTX is their line of products. TTX is supposed to be their best line and non-ttx is their second best.

Hopefully I got the rare good wheel hubs from TRQ. With all I'm hearing, I'll be happy if all these components last 5 years or more. Maybe by then I'll be able to afford a $1,000 monthly payment on a 5 year old used vehicle.
