2018 silverado 5.3. Winter only I get check engine light, warmer part of year it goes away. I put my computer on it and got:
  • P0097 IAT sensor 2 circuit low voltage.
  • P00F5 intake air humidity sensor circuit high voltage.
  • P0102 MAF sensor circuit low frequency.
  • P2199 Intake air temperature sensors 1-2 not plausible.

I’ve cleaned the MAF sensor before and down the road here I am with codes, figured maybe a fault MAF sensor so I just put in a new one. And I’m still getting codes. Harness to MAF is plugged in good and wiring seems good. Curious what am I messing?

Could also be a bent pin on the connector on the MAF itself. Can't tell you how many times I've seen the result of a DIYer trying to plug something in and getting the connector cocked just enough it bends a pin. Or it got bent in transit. Then they figger they just need to use a little more force and it'll be OK. So when the original code comes back along with new ones, it's off to the shop. Also verify that the new MAF has the same number of pins and that they are in the same positions on the connector as the original.

Yeah, for my '04 3500, I replaced the MAF with one from NAPA (IDR the brand), it mostly worked, but in cold weather (like -20C) I would occasionally get P0101 codes with it. Replaced it with a used GM MAF, no more P0101 errors regardless of temp.

Further research online I found a Technical Service Bulletin. No: 18-NA-217
There’s a wiring harness underneath the truck for the fuel composition sensor, which is known for the wires to get damaged creating a short circuit. In turn creating all the codes and making cruise control inoperative. Going to double check if this is covered under my warranty. If not the repair instructions are straight forward.
