My diff is good. Just changed rear u joint this week. Front u joint done last year. Tranny is good and fluid is good. Why is it still clunking going into reverse?

Watch the drive shaft while somebody else shifts from drive to reverse. Just because something was already done does not mean it is still good.
There is a problem with the slip yokes on these trucks, I recall seeing a procedure to lube it on this site somewhere. Aside from that and ujoints, the next most likely thing is the backlash in the rear gears. If you put it in neutral you can twist the shaft back and forth to get a feel for how much backlash there is. Only cure for that is to reset the carrier. Not a big deal to do, but you should at least read up on it first.

Gonna have to check the clip yokes out. Haven't checked them yet. I know for sure everything else is fine.
Like I said, you dont know until you have checked it this time. The is a remarkable increase in the number oc crappy aftermarket parts. Just because you looked at something a little while ago doesnt mean iis still good. Also, unless you had your diff apart and used a dial indicator to check iit out, then you cant know the diff is good.

Try this.....................

Push down a bit firmer on the break pedal before you shift gears, drop into neutral for a second, and then shift into whatever gear.

There's a lot of slop in the drive train on these trucks..................pushing a bit harder on the break pedal stops a lot of that slop from making a clunk.
