Hello everyone, I want to give me first review of the new Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT from Discount Tire. I just got these tires installed today. I got 50k miles on the original tires on the truck, which were the Goodyear Wrangler SR-A all season tires. They were ok when off road driving, but they definitely didn't have the grip I was looking for. I decided to get all terrain tires because I do a fair amount of off road driving, but 90% of my driving is on the highway. So I was looking for a tire that had better grip for the off road driving, but also got the kind of gas mileage I was used to getting on the highway. I know the AT tires aren't going to get great gas mileage and they're typically noisier than your typical all season tire. The Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT seemed like a good balance between those 2 types of tires AND I've always had a good experience with Goodyear tires. I went with the Passenger tire instead of the Light Truck tire since gas mileage is important with all the highway driving I do. The LT tire is significantly heavier than the P tire, so unless you care for the beefier tire or you do a lot of towing, go with the P tire. The gas mileage on the highway is just as good with these UltraTerrain tires as it was with the SR-A tires. They're not any noisier either, which was surprising to me. I was expecting a noisier tire, but I can't hear a difference. So far, so good. I'll submit a review at 5k miles.

Gotta take passengers out into the woods and play in the mud! haha

They do look nice.

Great tires! I have 14k miles on them already and they still look and feel brand new. They have great grip in the sand, mud, rain and boat ramp. And yes, I took about a 1 MPG hit in fuel economy. I'll average 19 on the highway as long as I'm not going over 75 mph. I highly recommend them. I bought them at Discount Tire.

Quick caveat....stick with the Passenger tires unless you absolutely need the LT tires. The LTs will be heavier and worse on fuel economy. Mine are the passenger tires. As you can see if the pictures, they still look beefy and rugged.

I will def. stick to P rated. I have 275/55/20 Duratracs right now. These just seem to be more of a fit for me.

I meant to ask, have you noticed any more of a hit to your fuel economy?

Curious, how many miles do you have on these tires now and how are they holding up? Looking to replace my Hankooks before this winter. Got around 52k on mine, but they started to get a little loose on snow last winter so don't want to run them for a third.
