I've seen one other post about how to find your trucks body code, but it was back from 2015 and someone just answered his question instead of showing him how to find it for himself. Can someone please show my how to find this? My truck is a 2020 GMC Seirra in-line 6 turbo diesel. VIN number is 3GTP8CET1LG279924

Body code E63, per the VIN lookup on chevroletforum.com link that BowTieZ71 posted. I would also consider emailing socialmedia@gm.com to get a build sheet, it's very informative and helpful, to know what options your truck rolled off the assembly line with.
Why I posted the TC10543 code was that option is one of the ones listed on the Amazon drop down menu minus the "T".

Your right, the social media at GM are very helpful when you ask them. They just gave me the exact build date of my truck

I thought the new trucks no longer came with RPO's in the glove box. Just a dot matrix of some sort with not all the info. Sending the email to socialmedia@gm.com will give a lot of info...but not sure if they give that body code. I dont think it affects much at all...certainly not withing Amazon's garage. Just info. The primary detail is the engine, drivetrain and body style (crew, reg cab..etc).

FWIW

On page 457 of the 2020 Sierra/Sierra Denali Owner's Manual:

Service Parts Identification

There may be a large barcode on the certification label on the center pillar that you can scan for the following information:

. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
. Model designation
. Paint information
. Production options

If there is not a large barcode on this label, then you will find this same information on a label inside of the glove box.

That is true.
They have a "QR Code" sticker.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code

But that sticker still contains all the same information. You just need an app on your phone to read it.
Install the app (get wherever you get apps for your phone). Launch the app and point your phone camera at the code.
It will read the code and give you the information.

My '19 GMC Sierra has that instead of the old RPO sticker, and I assume all new GM vehicles are that way.

Yep, I was aware how they work. My point was that I have seen other threads where other new truck owners have scanned it and said not all the RPO codes were there.

Did you get all the codes scanning yours then?

I believe I did.
They are a little harder to understand in the format they are displayed though.
I was able to see 44 codes. Of course some of them don't really mean much (or couldn't decipher them all).
But I was able to get all the important ones.

fwiw - The Service Parts Identification (SPID) label, now 'QR' code label in use lists a vehicle's VIN, RPO codes and other information that identify the content of the vehicle to aide in obtaining oem replacement parts. That's sole purpose of those labels and why they often contain unidentifiable component codes.

Thanks, very helpful as I had the window sticker pdf and viewed code: SALES MODEL CODE TC10543 for use on Amazon vehicle specification. This is a post-refresh 2022 GMC Sierra and everything is difficult to sort out. Locksmith said it uses 2023 software and three additional cross-town trips to various dealers was necessary to get a key FOB made for the very expensive cost of $315. Still trying to figure out why adaptive cruise doesn't work, sticker says only equipped with "FOLLOWING DISTANCE INDICATOR" which evidently means "your screwed due to pandemic parts shortages" even though all dash indications and control buttons are present. This is my second late model truck purchased in 2023 and I have been surprised both times at options omitted. You basically need a list of your requirements to double check against sticker and then ask questions to be sure you get what you want, the packages are all over the place with all the manufacturers.
