I recently bought Tow Mirrors off Ebay for my 03 silverado 2500HD. I got the ones with built in blinkers as I really like those, and they are also Power/Heated. I felt like I got them for $235...So here the link is -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/181683919398?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT --
TOOLS NEEDED
7mm Socket
10mm socket
Flat Head Screwdriver (Something to remove Trim Pieces)
Ratchet and Extension
T20 Socket(If Applicable)
STEPS
UNINSTALLATION
1)Remote Trianguar Trim piece by mirror
2)Remove Foam Insulation
3)Remove Door Lock Switch (Not the electrical switches, the physical switch that shows whether the door is locked or not)
4)Remove 7mm screw behind door lock switch
5)Remove Plastic Cover on each side of door (If Applicable)---------This was not on my 2500HD
5A)Remove T20 Bolt behind plastic cover(s) (If Applicable)
6)Remove Handle Bezel
7)Remove 7mm screw behind Upper Door Handle
8) Lift Door Panel upwards and towards you
9)Peel Away Plastic Sheet and unclip mirror harness from door
10) Disconnect Mirror Harness behind Door Panel
11)Remove 3 10mm nuts that hold the mirror into place
12)Remove mirror
INSTALLATION OF NEW MIRROR
1)Insert mirror where the other one was located
2)Tighten 3 10 mm nuts
3)Run Wire Harness under Plastic sheet and attach clips to the door
4)Connect the mirror harness where you originally had it
5)Place Door Panel back on Driver's Door
6)Tighten the 2 7mm Screws (Door lock and Upper Handle)
7)Tighten T20 bolts and put plastic cover's on (If Applicable)------Not Applicable on my 2500HD
8)Insert Door Lock Switch (Not the electrical switches, the physical switch that shows whether the door is locked or not)
9)Insert Handle Bezel
10)Insert Foam Insulation
11)Place Triangular Piece back on
