Hydro boost upgrade problems

Hello so I have a 2002 gmc sierra 1500hd 6.0

I only replaced the hydroboost due to the inside push rod leaking so I decided might as will do a hydroboost upgrade like I seen on YouTube so I got an 11 HB installed it and bleeded the system and refreshed the fluid and on frist Initial test it was like night and day different the pedal feel great but when
I backed up and turned wheel it was applying breaks and the more I turn the wheel the more it applied the brakes I was like WTH

So I decided to just go for a test drive and omg you can feel that the truck was being held back and the harder you push it it was not going to go any faster and as I turn the wheel you can see the pedal being apply by it's self

So I took the master cylinder off and did a test and i turn left or right you can see the push rood being push out

So I put my old one back in and re-did the procedure and everything went back to normal so I wanted to know 11 HB I got is it bad or it just does not work for my truck

I know for GMT800's, the hydroboost can have 2 different rods, and using the wrong one can result in the brakes staying applied all the time. IDK what trucks have which, and how they might swap with gmt900 ones.

I thought it would be the rod so I swapped my old into the new HB and still the same I even put washers to space the MC out more and it still does the same like I said in the post with the MC on as you turn the wheel left or right it literally applys the brakes by it's self even when you rev the engine up you can see the rod being push out

Im not sure about turning the wheel and it applying brakes, but i do know the rod inside the Booster to the MC has a very specific length it needs to be.
Just finished wasting a day chasing down this problem on a turbo truck for a customer. Ended up having to cut over 3/8" off the rod to get it to work right.
But for the steering input to apply brakes sounds like a pressure issue inside the Booster.
