Hi. I own a 1993 GMC Sierra and here is my question. How do I identify my truck as a C1500, G1500, or K1500? Can this be done with the Vin; or how else can I find out? Thanks!

Is it 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive? That will tell you right there.
2 wheel drive is denoted by a C
4 wheel drive is denoted by a K
So a k1500 is a 4 wheel drive half ton truck or suv.
G was the vans.
