Hi, I'm new here and I was hoping that someone may be able to help with an issue I'm having an issue with my 2000 Silverado 4.3L intermittently blowing the crank fuse.
I've looked over the wiring and dont see anything shorted out. may run ok for weeks, the issue seems to happen more frequently when its been raining. does anyone know what all components are in the circuit for the crank fuse?
any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

If it happens more when it's raining, wouldn't it be a bare power wire shorting out? When it blows are you on smooth road or rough?
Don't know anything about the crank components, unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply, It blows the fuse when attempting to start the engine, in an attempt to solve this issue, have installed new starter, but has not helped.
