Issues with Bully Dog GT Tuner

I have a 2012 Silverado Z71 4X4 5.3 and I just installed the Bully Dog GT Tuner. I noticed when starting the vehicle right after installation that the truck hesitated to start, kind of bogged down and i noticed loss of power big time. I did set it back to stck settings and unplugged the battery cables to reset the ECM. Truck was back to normal. So, my question is that does anybody know whats going on once I installed the tuner that those issues happen. I installed again today and still same issues? Thanks

So, now I installed it again. While it's installed I unhooked battery cables for 15-20 min. And now it works fine. The only issue now is when I was trying to fuse tap the check engine light came on. I was able to diagnose the issue once I start my truck the engine light goes away but if I leave then ignition on the check engine stays on until I start the truck. ?!????? Thanks.
