I don't know anything about the battery or if it will work with a console, but it is my understanding you cannot order the console from GM as a complete unit, you have to order each individual piece separately which will get pricey in a hurry. Your best bet is to find a complete unit in a junk yard or find somebody who is selling/trading one.

 

No idea about a battery pack under the console. Is that related to the e-assist stuff? As long as the console fits on top of it, I don’t think it should impact the swap. Just buy the console from a junkyard, retrofit harness from Phil (HarnessDr.) and a couple of other cables and you should be good to go. You could even ask Phil if he has any idea. He is a very helpful guy.

I have an 06 6.0 with the jump seat, can I change that out to full console? I have never really looked into it. I sure could use the extra room. Would also like to make a trap door for smuggling high quality chicken eggs. The market for good eggs in my area is really high right now.
