As to the wiring, I got it mostly figured out. The wire that was supposed to be for the front amber clearance lights was the reverse wire.

So instead of having clearance lights on the front of the mirror I have turn signals. I did not locate the right wire on the truck for the reverse lights to work, but it's al ready to solder once I find it.

I just installed my brothers last night but wanted to make the amber running/turn signal but the bad part is that the red arrow and Amber light are on the same circuit.

 

Ah, that's easy enough to fix once it's nice out. Can't wait to get mine!

Oh, and if anyone is wonder how sturdy they are. They feel like stock. They don't have any wiggle in them and the slide to extend them is nice and firm. I haven't driven over 40mph yet, so I can't say if they shake or not at highway speed, but judging by how strong they feel, I'd guess they won't shake at all.

Me, I'd dip the chrome pieces, but I can't deny the awesomeness of these mirrors.

 

I'll take a few now. It will be better once I hook up the reverse lights.

I thought about color matching the black part, but I sort of like the black.

I was also kind of torn on the chrome when I was ordering, since they have all black ones too, but my stick mirrors were chrome as well so I just stuck with it

 

I just took a short video instead. They leds in there are nice and bright.

I have the WT model of the 04 Sierra. Do yall think i could wire these up to my truck. I dont have power so could I manually adjust the glass itself. All i am interested in is the turn signals, amber lights, and reverse lights??? Thanks in advance.

 

You would probably strip the gears for the adjusting motors if you tried to adjust them by hand. I will take a look on ebay and see if I can't find something that will work for ya.

I just did a quick search and it seems like anything that has the turn signals, also has power adjust and heat.

I'm wondering how hard it'd be to convert your truck to power adjust mirrors.

 

Not sure. Once I set my mirrors they don't move. And k could extend the wires to tap directly into the main wires them selves couldn't I?

I got the reverse lights wired up today. They aren't as bright as I would have liked, but in a completely dark area, they might help a little bit.
